Don't you love that feeling when you have your A-game on?
You know you've got it going on — you're feeling great, you know your stuff, the world is your oyster.
There's nothing better than the feeling of kickass self-confidence. Not the self-absorbed, boasty, I'm-better-than-you kind of confidence (which really isn't confidence at all).
I'm talking about the confidence that exudes from a certain inner knowing that you are capable, interesting, attractive enough, and worthy of love and respect.
- Confident people are able to be humble without appearing meek.
- They can admit mistakes without feeling like failures.
- They can have a beginner's mindset without seeming like fools.
You don't have to be wildly successful or the smartest kid on the block to have this kind of confidence. You don't even have to be drop-dead gorgeous or even sorta good-looking.
You just have to feel comfortable in your own skin.
“Easier said than done,” says you. “Not necessarily,” says me.
Yes, it does help if you are attractive, skilled, and have a naturally outgoing personality. But these aren't requirements for confidence.
Confidence is a skill that can be learned by anyone, even those who see themselves as shy, socially awkward, or unattractive.
In fact, have you ever noticed how a physically attractive person who is rude, narcissistic, or otherwise unpleasant or disengaged suddenly isn't so attractive anymore?
Or how someone who isn't going to make it on America's Next Top Model becomes more attractive because they exude warmth, affability, and self-assurance?
The best way to turn your self-confidence around is by working on your mindset.
How do you think about yourself?
What are the words you use to describe yourself?
What is your attitude about your capacity to grow, learn, and succeed?
Let's start there and begin to erase the negative cobwebs from your self-talk so you can see the confident person inside waiting to emerge.
Here are 57 of the best confidence quotes to change the way you think about yourself.

This one got to me. Why is it that we are so hard on ourselves? I guess it has to do with the fact that we know our deepest flaws, even those that other people don’t see in us. On the other hand, we cannot see the flaws hidden in other people, so we assume they are somehow better. Love these quotes and would love to see other ones covering different topics, other than self-confidence.
