Hey Blog-Head, Want to Rock Your Mind?

Are you an avid blog reader?

If you have a list of blogs you follow regularly, you might find you get unwittingly glued to the screen. One great post leads to another, then you are off on a sideline search or idea intrigue that leads you deeper and deeper into the bowels of your computer. You might even have a blog addiction.

It's easy to spend hours trolling the amazing content out there in the blogosphere. So easy that I've found myself wandering through the forest of beautiful posts only to look up and discover I've been gone for way too long and gotten alarmingly off the track of my original intent. Oops.

Well here's something to rock your mind and satisfy your blog addiction! As of today, you can find the best of the best blogs all in one place at a brand, spanking new aggregate blog called The Daily Brainstorm: A Blogazine to Rock Your Mind. It launches officially this week. (Trumpets sound.)

“What's an aggregate blog,” you might ask. It's a blog that feeds in posts from a variety of other blogs, serving you up a pu pu platter of treats and delicacies from a variety of writers on a variety of topics. You don't have to do the blog hopping and shopping. It's all in one great place.

So what makes The Daily Brainstorm different? Lots of great stuff.

1. It's a magazine wrapped in a blog.

It's like having Time, People, Real Simple, Fitness, Forbes, Travel & Leisure, Bon Appetit, Body & Soul, Psychology Today, Money, Home & Garden, and Discovery — all quite handy on one site, just one click away. Great articles on your favorite topics without having to troll.

2. It's the best of the blogosphere.

You can't go wrong with Leo Babauta's Zen Habits; Darren Rowse's ProBlogger; Gretchen Rubin's Happiness Project; Danielle LaPorte's White Hot Truth; Mary Jaksch's Goodlife Zen and Write to Done; Charlie Gilkey's Productive Flourishing; and Erin Pavlina's Spiritual Wisdom. These are as good as it gets in blogland — the superstars. Oh, and there are so many more — over 40 fantastic blogs.

3. It's edgy and erudite up-and-comers.

Some of the new stars of the blogosphere are emerging on The Daily Brainstorm, and you'll be there to watch them rise. Look out for Katie Tallo of Momentum Gathering; Lisa of Privilege; Jeff Nickles of My Super-Charged Life; Jean Sarauer of Virgin Blogger Notes; Karol Gajda of Ridiculously Extraordinary; Angela Artemis of Powered by Intuition; and Arvind Devalia of Make It Happen.

4. It will help you rock your life.

The Daily Brainstorm is a place where compelling ideas mingle, where the best and the brightest gather, and where readers are inspired in a multitude of ways to live bigger, bolder and happier lives. It's all about giving you what you want and what you love to read, with practical strategies, inspiration, a bit of controversy, and mind-rocking information.

Ok, a little truth in advertising here. I am the editor of The Daily Brainstorm. So I may be inclined to wax poetically about how much you'll get from visiting the blog. But check it out for yourself, and please come back and let me know what you think.

We want your opinions, ideas and feedback! If you have a favorite blog that's missing, let us know. Already, there's a lot of interest and excitement about this new blog. I want you to be part of it, so jump over and take a look.
