Free Webinar with Leo Babauta: The Life-Changing Power of Bad Habits

Prevent disease with healthy living

On Monday, April 23 at 7:00 pm EDT, Leo Babauta of Zen Habits will share some of the things he has learned about creating habits (read his story for some of the habits he has created and changed).

He is hosting a free hour-long webinar called How I Used the Power of Bad Habits to Change My Life. You don’t need to register in advance. Just click on and use the password habitjedi.

All you need to do is show up, listen to him talk about a very simple habit system, and then you can ask any questions you like. (You do need to be signed-up for a free Ustream account to participate in the chat.)

Leo will be sharing how his previous bad habits paved the way for the life-changing habits he has created over the last few years. He will discuss the very specific mechanisms needed for habit creation and change, and why we tend to repeat a pattern of starting habits enthusiastically only to give up after a few days or weeks.

Here’s what Leo has to say about this recurring problem with habit creation:

Most people try to exercise, or become more productive, or start meditating … only to give up a few days or a couple weeks later. And then they feel bad about it, and wonder why they suck at making changes.

What we don’t realize is that there are certain forces working against us, mostly because we don’t understand how habits are created.

What I’ve learned is that you can turn those forces around, and make them work for you.

If you are interested in finding out how you can turn the forces that work against habit creation into powerful tools to create habits, please join Leo for this free webinar . On Monday, April 23, at 7:00 p.m. EDT, just click the link below to attend. No sign-up is necessary.

This is cool. I am in. I think everyone should take this course, and also attend the webinar. It doesn’t matter what new we might learn..sometimes…all we have to learn is how to unlearn..

  2. Hi Barrie,
Thanks for providing this Webinar again. It is difficult for me to stream at work – in fact it’s just not the right thing to do (I’m on PST). Might it be on “demand” at some time or one hour later?

    Thanks so much.
